The Farewell Season. . .
| In 1996, Disneyland advertised that The Main Street Electrical Parade was going to "Glow Away" forever. Fortunately, the succeeding parade was a dud and Disney couldn't part with this classic. It sent the parade to NYC, then on to Walt Disney World for the Millennium, and then to its "home" at Disney's California Adventure (and in 2010-? to Walt Disney World again). Of course, there was also a second full version of the parade that had been created for Walt Disney World that eventually got sent to Paris Disneyland and has seen other Disney parks around the world. |
